The gas mileage is 49 per gallon, alot better than the 19 i get now with my Pontiac

Brock pontiacs suck! Had a 2002 grand am, wife has 2006 G6. Just got rid of grand am, G6 is having lots of issues, looking to get rid of that too.

Pontiacs always seem to have trouble with check engine light/exhaust/transmission, glad they stopped making those.

its 40 (hwy) not 49, retardo. camry hybrid is actually better at 43/39 while sonata is just 35/40.

but you need to get something more in your price range.... like a 1995 geo metro. it gets as high as 44mpg.

I've had friends that had the sonata and they loved it, the genesis looks like a better car IMO. Good luck whatever you decide.
