jeffdane these are tips for guys that are broke

people with jobs/money/etc might prefer paying the $10 for a popcorn and soda

When you go grocery shopping you can get cart push it around store and when you go by salted peanuts in shell grab hand full, go by the candy aisle where you can dispense you own product fill bag of your favorite push cart while grabbing handfuls and eating. Go buy bakery and get a few donuts to eat on your journey. If your into fruits or vegetables there pretty easy to also eat while you push cart around looking like your shopping. And there you have it a meal for free.

1) get a buddy, girlfriend, wife, etc to let you in an exit door.
2) NEVER see just one movie, map out the times to see at least 3 or 4 in a sitting
3) swipe an empty large popcorn bucket and soda cup from the garbage, rinse them out and have free food and drink all day with free refills. get a new straw and really give the old cup and bucket a good rinse/wipe so it's not disgusting in case someone like ttwarrior was eating and drinking out of them.
4) keep pairs of 3d glasses and imax 3d glasses handy in your car. so even if you're paying for a movie, pay for the 2d version, then pull out your glasses and enjoy the savings!

If your gonna get that cheap why not save the gas and download a cam version of the movie?

Did everything except eating out of the trash when I was in my teens.

Got busted once for movie hoping at some gestapo establishment in south elgin. Fukkers.

For you geniuses who enjoy not eating out of the trash, keep the popcorn bag from one visit, and ante up for a loyalty cup where a refill is a dollar. Cheap and sanitary. Easy enough to fold those bags.

Great tips, but this is impossible. I can't think of the last time there were 4 movies playing that I'd even remotely see. Maybe around Christmas time.

Still not sure why some of you think rinsing and wiping an empty popcorn bucket is the same as eating trash.

Havent you ever used a plate or fork in a restaurant? Those have been used a lot more than once by a lot of strange people, and i will trust my washing more than a bus boy

Good tip on bringing back the popcorn bag, i think amc is about the only place that uses bags though? Theyre not very durable but you could get a few uses out of it
