Unreal how easy it is to get any song you want for FREE

and how easy it is to download to a mobile device

They used to have six aisles of music at Best Buy...........now only one

    I don't think people buy CD's anymore

i buy any CD i want that is new when it comes out, import it to ITunes, then resell it on Amazon. Generally costs about 1 to 2 dollars for any new album i want.

But if its an older album, or one i don't need right away, i request the CD from the champaign library, and import it into Itunes.

Remarkable what my music collection is now, there's very few if any songs i ever wanted that i don't have!

I haven't bought a piece of media in a LONG LONG time. Music, movies, tv shows, etc...

And the last thing I bought was probably a Xbox game.

Napster and iTunes put all the record stores out of business. Last CD I bought was Wilco's "The Whole Love". I think the CD will still be around for a few more years. It's nice having a hard copy of your music.

I go to a nearby public library and borrow CD's. They have a surprisingly wide selection of stuff I like. I've downloaded hundreds of CD's on my Ipod from there.

Certain cd's from bands like Tool maybe, bands that I want to listen to the whole album.

Otherwise I listen online, figure out what songs I like and download them.
