just got the new Evo 4g LTE

would like to compare the galaxy 3 vs. iphone 5 but apple continues to delay the 5. galaxy 3 looks incredible.

Not delaying it, was planned for september/october to begin with.

By time there will be much better phones. A15 2.5ghz 1080p 2gb ram monsters.

Galaxy s3 is a disappointment, basically a Galaxy s2.5, Samsung dropped the ball, now adding an extra 1gb of RAM to it to even make it worthwhile and all these stupid suckers are buying it when 2-3 months from it Samsung will release Note 2. I know there's always something better in the future but this is a really short time.

Iphone 5 is just going to be Iphone with 4" screen, LTE, ios6 and slight cpu/gpu changes.

The real next generation stuff is coming fall/winter, right now this is just yesterdays left overs.

got mine in yesterday... along with the new galaxy, they are the nuts on the market right now...sorry apple fanboys, but iphones arent even mentioned in the same breath as the new evo's (i believe the oneX is the same as the new evos but diff. look if you are on at@t)... i get scattered 4g here, but the 3g on this phone is running as fast as verizons 4g...im sure downloads arent as fast, but as far as surfing and running stuff, its as fast as my buddies Thunderbolt 4g... just a superior machine

uteot, its got around 100k apps now...if you can think of it, it can do it ... ive been talking to mine all day and trying to learn some more vietnamese...voice translation is awesome ...satellite navigation(gps) etc just to name a few things ... honestly, i havent had much time to fukk with it, but will have it Rooted next week (same as Jailbreaking Iphone) and then will be able to do much more with it... the screen is 4.7' 720hd led and is just tiptop... was watching some tv at lunch off one of my normal streaming sites...Flash11 runs really well...dunno man, like i say, it does everything a laptop does along with all the apps...

I was thinking of getting this, but still kicking ass on my 2 year old HTC EVO 4G. Had to get a new battery, as the old one took a sh!t, but it is still running fast and smooth. Anker 1700 mah if your interested. Great battery.

Might be worth getting when they make a bigger iphone. As it is now it's a ladies phone. Too damn petite. Plus, can't run flash. Other than that it's alright I guess but I can't figure out what it does that others don't do better. Android has pretty much caught up on apps. Siri? LMAO.

I think that is probably right. I just got a new s3. It isn't much different from the s2. Quite frankly, I'm not sure how much more I need my phone to do anyway though. It does everything I need it to. I personally like the slightly bigger screen and that it is a bit smoother. I won't be keen on getting something the size of the Note though.

I got the s3 because it was free. Just like I'll (probably) get the s4 (or whatever is good) next year too.

When you talk next generation, what are you expecting? I'm not sure what I am hoping for my next phone to do. The only thing Samsung really needs is a siri clone that actually works.

Phones only need to last 12 months IMO, so there is never any point waiting more than a month or two for something.
