Prilosec is a medication used to help treat gastric ulcer, or a relation of severe heartburn. You should prob get a upper GI (Upper gastrointestinal tract radiography) it will x-ray your esophagus, You ingest barium which is no biggie - think eating chalk. Allowing your physician to see the function of your stomach/esophagus. Also if you experiencing heartburn try a tablespoon of baking soda with warm water and not just eat tums like tic tacs.
