If you have surround sound and a big screen at your home, it's a rent. If not, don't bother. It was just a huge hype and nothing else. Cool graphics though, thats it. Go see MIB3

It was alright, wasn't the worst movie ever. It was better than Battlefield Earth. But that's not saying much. If you are into pretty colors and graphics its alright, plot leaves something to be desired.

Never seen it, never going to. Storyline is unoriginal, Cameron never comes up with anything original. I couldn't give a stuff about fancy graphics and sound, I want storyline.

It was a kid's movie with 3D. It was fine but nothing great. If you've see Dances with Wolves you don't need to see it. It's a direct rip off except dumbed down and with more action for the masses.

Don't worry, some guy above me posted the same thing. I actually had never watched Dances with Wolves until recently and then watched Avatar a couple of days ago and lo and behold it was the same thing more or less.

I'm guessing you have to see Avatar in 3D to love it.
