Had a similar situation happen when we were travelling through Louisiana. Literally got robbed by a cop that pulled us over for running a stop sign (we didn't). Took every dollar we had on us instead of arresting us.

Texas can't succeed from the union, they can only divide the state into several smaller states. To OP, 9 out of 10 people I deal with on a daily basis I think shouldn't be allowed in public, let alone driving or operating a car. Having only lived in Texas I don't know normal day to day interactions with other people, but it can't be worse than it is here.
