Its not difficult. Your body adjust to any sleep pattern you make routine. My last job i was working 5pm-5am everyday and it wasn't a big transition for me. I was working a 9am-4pm before that. Id invest in some good window shades that keep the sun out. as long as your bedroom is dark and you dont have kids/wife awake during the day disturbing you, you should be fine.

Most night jobs are warehouse of some sort, hes probably taking a job paying $14-$20 as a employee or more as a supervisor in this job field. I could be way off though.

Used to do it at Krispy Kreme making doughnuts. We worked hard for a couple hours and made the quota then would smoke weed and fck off for hours. Then go home and sleep after work. Some of the best times in my life.

Nice, but yea i can see how that would be hard to stay up when your doing nothing. Good pay for limited responsibility though.

What do you do, IWin?
I've done it for 2 years straight. It really ruins your social life. Just make your you have the weekends off or Friday and Saturday so you can hang out with friends and don't have to worry about being back on time for work.

Some people can't sleep during the day. In that case, it's either find a day job or ruin your health.

6p-6a driving a forklift. Work 7/14 days. Good pay plenty of ot and I can fall asleep no problem anytime so my weekends are ok too. Only thing that sucks is rotating schedule so work weekends every other month.

Doing a 10-6 helps b.c sometimes the night shift starts at midnight, imo i like getting up 1 or 2,instead of 3 or 4. Also five dollars an hour is a nice bump in pay, most places just give your 10 percent more.

did it for years its the worst way to live, it will end up killing you. I am dying have about 5 months left . my heart is destroyed and I led a very healthy life style. big part was the night shift.I did not really do work all night, I was part of a law enforcement team .

I worked night shift back in the day 1983-1993 working for my dad was easy work but it will get to you.I worked 10pm -6am.About a 1/2 hour drive home, slept from 8-1 went to the track sometimes during the day got some chores done then back to sleep 630 -8 30 then do it again.Sun - Friday morn. When i quit it took at least a year to turn my body around.Best thing no bosses most of the time no traffiic either.I would stick to day shift but waking up early sucks too.

I just began a warehouse night shift job myself last night. My body feels blah right now as I have had little sleep. I know I need to let my body adjust, but it sucks right now. I like it though as no traffic, very few people working the night shift and it is more cooler temp wise.
