chi archie , my son lives in Naperville area, I live on east coast I am friends with Tony Massarotti, hes been after me for years to do something ,I must talk to several of the living organized members ,and get their feelings about your idea, There are many who have died that leaves us with many stories. Also Robmpink you remember when I first got sick it was three years .Thanks forletting me know , you remember and all that , I have a few options, I am truely not afraid ,strangely I am excited, I do love my family more than one can imagine, and I am very spiritual ,I know I will see my mother and father which I miss everyday. My mother meant everything to me.Iwant to be with her again.That gives me hope.I won't forget you rob you are very bright I know you will do the right thing.Lets hope we will be in conversation next year. Dutch, I led a full life I am 64 years old , I did 2 tours in Vietnam. I never bring up the war. You could not understand that part of my life. I will explain what happened, I was running from the battle which was planned. About 12 of us went into a swamp area , as those bastards followed us into the swampy area we had teams of three sitting and waiting it was like shooting fish in a barrell , they lost over 60 men that night .What I did see was as soldiers layed on the wet ground ,loud machine gun fire and smoke and flares lit the swamp like fenway park I saw images leaving their bodieswas it the flares bouncing off their bodies , no these were images of people sweeping around ,then disapearing. all of you heard what happened almost 40 years thats the first time I mentioned this to people other than my wife.I have had an exciting life. I had gone to a shrink for 15 years, trying to understand death , I knew everyone is going to die, but I really had no control so I worked and worked on it . I had everthing , surely I was blessed , but death was going to take this away. I had a great doc , he helped me. Instead of being disturbed and frustraded . I decided to face this dilemma and be a man. Like those hundres back in the swamps or like my family members Etc. All I can say if you think I am giving you the bull ,don't come on the ride who knows what will happen , and for all the great people that have said something nice thanks I really need to do this. P.S. dutch I am sorry . please excuse me its not easy when you are facing your demise.

Doctors dont know the day you will pass. Noone on this earth does. Live life everyday to the fullest and be thankful you get to see the sun rise. Do not let a doctor ruin your life. Everyday is a new day and when you're tired of fighting its ok.

you should go to 4 or 5 different churches and throw money at all of them, catholic, budist, muslim, hell I'd even **** a rattle snake to cover all my bases. Then if nothing else the IRONY factor alone would insure you live another 10 years broke.
