IPO's generally fall back below opening sometime in the first few days and then a lot of them will pick back up. Buying after a few days is a decent way to make a profit. Generally.

FB stock owners will expect the company to have high earnings and, more importanly, to keep earnings growing. Annoying ads are the only real way to do that. That will piss people off.

Expect a "Pay us a monthly fee and we'll stop most of the ads" option for Facebook.
