Black Democratic strategist Jehmu Greene clearly makes a racist remark here. What would be the reaction if the white man said "You people, fried-chicken eating black girls......"

Sharpcat--These sorts of double standards have bothered me for several years now. It's only been the last couple of years or so that they seem to be bothering quite a few more people, which I am glad to see. I've many views on it, and they tend to tentacle out (is that an actual phrase?) all over the place, but I'll attempt to be concise here.
First, if something is racist, it is racist. Period. However, although society has been cracking down on racism (by the media jamming down our throats that racism is a scourge that must be eliminated) there is one ethnic group which is "allowed" to be put down, which is Whites. There are a multitude of reasons, but I'll simply focus on what I believe is the main reason. So many White people put themselves down, both in their private conversations and in what is said in movies and television (never underestimate how powerful those mediums are), that it is considered to be funny. It makes me cringe, and when I do speak out, I'm told by fellow Whites that I need to "lighten up" or that I'm "too serious". Those remarks break my heart. Until we White people are able to get on the same page of music, and learn to have some pride in ourselves as a whole, we will continue to victims of accepted racism.
Now that brings up another issue: When the hell did if become the worst crime in the world to be racist? Many of my political, sociological, and philosophical beliefs have caused people to call me racist. The difference between me and most is that I honestly don't care. It's usually a rather subjective accusation anyways.

I have no joke, LITERALLY, seen someone die from a punch just like this when their head hit the pavement and resulted in an 8 ball hemmhorage. This kind of stuff gets no publicity, while people go apeshit over Trayvon Martin? I mean it's insanely terrible what happened to Martin, but this is along the same lines of racial profiling yet it's not a big deal because the guy is white? Ridiculous double standard.

Racism comes in all stripes. What Greene said was wrong. There is a double standard at times. But to use that double standard to justify ones own racism is comical. Are Blacks better basketball players/Are whites more likely to be Doctors?- appears that way. But are some whites better athletes than blacks and some blacks more intelligent than whites- yes. When one groups all in a particular race and says one fits all that to me is racism. The David Dukes and Louis Farrakhans of the world take the simplistic approach. Must make them sleep better at night.

Basically it is because the left has succeeded in putting everyone into groups and labeling each group as being either victim or perpetrator. As far as the left is concerned, the worst group is white non liberal men, so it is okay to say bad things about them. Sometime tomorrow someone on here will come into this thread and make some statement about we shouldn't feel sorry for Tucker, after all, he is a white male, he has the world at his feet.
