Where do I go? ND is more expensive, slightly higher ranked. Not fukkin with you guys here. I have 12 days to make this decision.

To be honest, ND's national recognition is what is making this hard for me.

Illinois and ND are peer schools to anyone in the mid west in the law industry... but I'm worried people in the Northeast, South, West would slide ND ahead of Illinois due to the Notre Dame aura.

Last year, Illinois was actually ranked above ND in law school rankings. This year, ND is ahead. It changes a lot from year to year in the 15-35 range.

Notre Dame is the only answer here, right? Your parents are paying and you will get more contacts and be able to use the whole 'Notre Dame man' thing much more which will be useful in the post college craziness.

I can't decide if this is right. The information I've found shows that ND places better nationally but that Illinois places better in Chicago, which is where I want to go I think. ND grads could self select away from Chicago though, because a lot of them end up in California/New York.

ND. law school is about rankings and connections. illinois would definitely better for the party atmosphere but in law school you probably won't be doing too much of that. cant go wrong between either school though
