    Can the President be arrested?
By arrested i mean taken into custody.
    Not talking impeachment proceedings either.
Is there anything in the constitution that prohibits a law enforcement agency with probable cause sufficient for a criminal arrest from obtaining a warrant from a judge (im sure you can find some rebagade judge) for a search of the White House and/or arrest?

Exactly how would it go down when they meet up with the Secret Service?

What would happen if the Predident was out in public at some fundraiser, several local cops (or federal/state) with jurisdiction (if jurisdiction is even possible) approached him to serve the warrant?
The Secret Service's job is to protect him, not to interfere with lawful behavior of other Law enforcement agencies, right?

Damn I should have become a lawyer, I love this stuff:-)

Isn't there a law that states basically if the President is not capable or able to perform his duties, the Vice-President moves up the line of succession to the top, thus rendering the Persident powerless to pardon himself, or anyone else.
And also, the pardoning procedure is not immeadiate.

Official website of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). DOJ’s mission is to enforce the law and defend the interests of the United States according to the law; to ensure public safety against threats foreign and domestic; to provide federal leadership in preventing and controlling crime; to seek just punishment for those guilty of unlawful behavior; and to ensure fair and impartial administration of justice for all Americans.
