Deposited my last 100 into my heritage account. went broke. not sure what to do. any advice on what to do.i have no money for food right now?

Been there before about 6 years ago. My online bank statement read $2.36. I remember being so broke I was relying on a new roommate moving in to drop off a $200 deposit just to eat (and gamble with, go figure, huh?) and that fuckstick flaked out on me out and never moved in and gave me the run-a-round about bringing the money over then would not answer his cell. It seems when you're down and out, no one is ever there. So I feel ya on this. Now, 6 years later, I don't have a whole lot in savings but made $104K (before taxes, of course) last year and a little less this year but I get by comfortably (I still blow waaaaay too much gambling) . Shit will turn around, just keep your head up.

Thanks Kat i appreciate all the support! I will take this as a wake up call to the destructive life i was leading. Im only 23 so i have my life ahead of me. This is a terrible feeling i have now, but i am sure i will get over it and move on and things will change for the better. I appreciate your words of advice bud!

23 is very young. you definitely have time on your side. if youre really going to stop laying action because you learned a valuable lesson, then i wish you the best of luck. if your just done until you get flush again, and then blow and be back to square one, then you might want to rethink things. trust me, 23 is young and it goes by fast.

Oh yeah, at 23 your got plenty of time to get your shit in one sock. Hell, took me 30 years, I'm 36 now. Wasn't too long ago I was in your shoes. I'm JUST about to get my BA in June (No lie, started the degree in 2000 online) I let gambling side track me and banged out the first 110 credits then took 7 years off while I toiled in a haze of alcohol, gambling strip clubs and finding myself in trouble with whatever woman I was dating and work. Gained a ton of weight (solid 180 to a flabby 220) I finally got things somewhat under control (mostly due to limiting my gambling and drinking), and got my shit together at work - re-married a wonderful woman- and feel like I finally got my life back. But took 30 years to do it. But I found my mail issue was gambling was keeping me from focusing on what was important in life. EVEN if you are not a big gambler (I mean I'm only a $100-$300/a game gambler) IT CONSUMES ALL YOUR THOUGHTS. I remember (and this is no lie) banging my wife (at the time) and all I could think about was whether my St. John's +7.5 bet would win as they were down 6 with 2 minutes and the wife turned the TV off. The nature of this beast forces you to do things a rationale person would normally not do. I've been late to work due to staying up watching west coast games (and I mean watching Yahoo box scores refreshing) CRAZY!

Man thats rough. Im doing the same thing with this parlay looking at gamecast on espn. We always forget that gambling is just as much a disease as being an alcoholic or being addicted to drugs. It can even be worse because it consumes all our thoughts, and its sad because everything we do pertains to gambling.
