anyone know a T-Mobile hotspot/tethering workaround?

stupid thing all of a sudden is making me pay 14.99 to use my phone internet for my PC

And no, I do not use a lot of data so I don't abuse/bog down the network

And NO this is not asking someone to help me steal because why should I have to pay for something that I'm already paying for??

I'm a store manager of T-Mobile store in CT. I'm surprised that you lasted this long without paying 14.99/mo. T-Mobile started charging for tethering like a year ago. As far as I know, there is no workaround.

Not sure what kind of plan you are on now, but there is currently a limited-time offer which the Hotspot is included in the 5GB data plan. So you save $20/mo.

thanks for the reply. yeah i used it forever and then got a text last month saying after march 24th i would have to get that 14.99 add on. weird thing is i can still go on facebook and google and other sites just fine but when i try sbr or something else i get the splash screen.

im on the 4g mothly prepaid i pay $70 for the unlimited talk/text and 5gb internet. am i able to still take advantage of that offer considering that im on the monthly prepaid?

oh and i know if i root my phone i can get around it but i was hoping i wouldnt have to do a root
