Anyone watch wife swap? I saw an episode a few years ago with a family who made their 2 young children come home immediately after school and do survival training in preparation for 2012. They also had rations and shit set up for it.

The real kicker is they recently bought a decent house and furnished the ENTIRE place on those "Dont pay a dime for 5 years" type of places saying "In less then 5 years it will be 2012, the world will end and we will never have to pay for our shit"

It doesn't. Just happens to coincide with the 3 days of darkness brought on by the return of the mayan god of the underworld.

Makes sense though. The 3 days of darkness are supposed to occur on a winter day at a time when the world is in a spiritual crisis.

Basically, it is a punishment by God on the earth for having turned away from Him.
