Why do you think this is? He is in year 6 of his campaign and the election is later this year. Do you think he has a better chance of getting re-elected if he panders to the 5,000 environmentalists who don't have real jobs to support his campaign, while Gas prices surge over $4.00 per gallon inflating the cost of every consumable item? Or do you think he has a better chance of being re-elected if he pisses off some tree huggers but brings down the cost of fuel and food for the other 300 million citizens?

The guy isn't a leader, he's a Yes man. When people were broke, he told them he'd take care of it. When people wanted free healthcare, he told them he'd take care of it. Now people want cheap gas.

You people really think the POTUS has that much effect on fuel prices? I think speculators and folks running around talking about bombing Iran have more to due with oil/gas prices then Obama.
