Iwinyourmoney: Need some info on Flamingo in Vegas

The sportsbook is very small and not even worth watching a game out. I can't imagine they have great action because they are surrounded by better books. If you want higher limits you have Caesars right across the street. Only way Flamingo is worth the upgrade is if they get you a room with a tv in the showers. Those are dope!

Flamingo is like 36 bucks a night on the website I usually use. Why so damn cheap? But yeah... i might just spend the extra money b/c Tropicana's sportsbook is nice and its a 2 minute walk to MGM's sportsbook as well in case they tried to limit me.

never stayed at flamingo but its much more centrally located

sportsbook SUCKS to watch games at...not sure about limits...

Dude **** the Trop. Flimingo is descent. Right in the middle of all the action. Poker room blows but they got cheap tournys in the morning.. The breakfast buff is off the hook, Bugsy's bar is nice but I got caught in a two hooker trap where we went back to the room and one of them robbed my boy while I was with the other.. Soon as u check in ask for an upgrade free of charge, the top rooms have 2 bedrooms, tvs built into the mirrors in the bathroom and bose suround sound with ipod docking stations. Sports book is ok but Caesars is right across the way. Trop is a toilet. NEVER take 2 hooker to your room! One only! Best of luck

Nah I've been home. Flying back Wednesday. I'm pretty sure I'm going to put in a mega ML parlay for Thursday's games that I might have to go to 2-3 different books to get the entire amount down.

I'm much more used to the area around Tropicana/MGM/Luxor... debating whether to stay down that area or go towards the middle of the strip.

True about Caesars, maybe I'll go with Flamingo. Is there another book near Flamingo's as well in case Caesars won't take the full bet amount?

Upgrade to the GO room if you do flamingo, well worth it. Poker room atheistically isn't great I found the competition soft for the most part. Walk across to street to belliago for your sportsbook needs, though I don't think flamingo will have a problem taking big action. Have never been to trop though I heard it is nice since they rennovated, I know " golds room" the poker room at the trop is really nice. Named after wsop main event winner Jamie gold, who plays there nightly i believe in the 1/2 or 2/5nl.

Winner for cheap I really recommend the flamingo.
Great location for fun, strip access, ect.

Sportsbook SUCKS. Size of a Starbucks.

But....it is connected to the tram system that runs to LVH....the best book out there.
The tram takes 10 minutes to get to the LVH and you can get a 24 hour pass for for like 20 or a 3 day pass for like 35$

Single ride tickets are 7$

Way cheaper and easier then a taxi

You can spit and hit harrahs....The also have a deep stack tourny at midnight in their poker room...you dont wanna watch games at harrahs but check out Toby Keiths bar and grill. I hate country music but their uniforms are fukkin awesome!!

I don't know what it is about these hotel prices but I guess I am too cheap to overpay for a hotel room when there is a cheap room that is fine.

200 a night at bellagio, not that much cash when I'll be betting 6 or 7 grand on this parlay but hate wasting money. Like risking it.

All Harahs properties use Caesars lines so if your worried bout getting a bad number you dont need to be. My buddy tried to do a nickel round robin once at harrahs with more than 2 dogs and they wouldnt take it. FYI

Flamingo is an excellent location, but their sportsbook sucks. It is in the heart of the strip basically, so you can't go wrong staying there. You should stay there, or ballys or another cheap place, and just go to another sportsbook. You can walk to the bellagio mgm, or use transpo to go to the hilton. As you know, it's dumb to waste money on a room you're hardly gonna be in.

Fine, but this thread was to ask about sportsbooks.

I've admitted I"m not a vegas going pro, I just started going THIS year, so I asked for some info on flamingo. Not sure why that is such a huge problem. I'm coming around on you as well, you aren't 1/10000th the douche crustyme is and I commend you for that. But again, you shouldn't care how I feel about you. What is annoying is how harmless threads like this always seem to rub sand up crustyme's vagina the wrong way.

As for me switching handles, if I am never banned on this name, I'll never post a single post under another handle. I can guarantee that.

dont say to save a few bucks. if you were worried about saving $$$$ you wouldnt have gone there 6 or 7 times this year. most gamblers are very superstitious you switch up now and you lose you will be kicking yourself in the ass.
