If you want to game on it then yes, alienware's, otherwise save the money and get a nice i7 loaded machine

minus the graphics, heavy on RAM, leftover's to bet with.

can't play sbr poker on a mac and other sites, I have dell store credit and some gift cards from there so figure its time

Im using a new mouse i don't like, i prefer the built in laptop mouse, using a new wireless keyboard sitting on top of my keyboard and my battery, ac adapter is on its last leg and id like to have something slightly better.

Ive had this laptop for 3 years and its been very good. Never had a virus watching porn, plays my games fine , although some starting to lag and sound isn't too good but been like that from day 1

Im reading reviews on xps and r and z laptops and seems some have trouble with wireless cards and sound but alot of great reviews also

This laptop is heavy . i see some are ultra thin now

Why a laptop Tits? You can buy an awesome desktop in that range and get a much larger monitor to help with the multi-tabling.

All Windows based computers suck ....they run slow as hell due to all that restrictive virus protection bullshit software you have to run with it ....I've been on macs for about five years now and will never go back to a pos Dell box....there's a reason why Apple is the biggest company in the world...they dont need all that bullshit virus protection software, still to this day has there been one successful virus that has penetrated a mac........the most rock solid operating system and which you'll never get a virus or stupid malware that windows computers suffer.

What good is a $1800 laptop when you get a virus on it in six months???? Once you've gone mac, you'll never go back.

by the way, any web business that doesnt transition their software to be compatible with mac will be dead in five years....the world is realizing the superior computer /operating system and everyone is ditching their PC's and selling them on craigslist to buy a mac.

well in that case, just get the $700 .....you dont need all the fancy features of the $1500...as long as you're running the latest operating system and have a decent processor, you're fine.

That metro style UI (Squares for apps) is horrible, absolutely hate it (I'm an IT guy so...), it's made for more tablet use and just ported over to desktop form. Changed back to the regular desktop.

Memory usage for the beta compared was only 100mb less, not substantial really but I may have had one or two extra services running on my win7 install.

Bootup times aren't really improved too much either. As soon as you install a few programs and have a few startup services running the 2 second difference is erased.

Just don't feel Windows has an edge. Even they're going to a marketplace/appstore style application deployment model; again, windows late to the game.

I'm not saying its not usable, I mean if you HAVE to use windows then ok you won't die. But compared to what's already out there with apple (everything is inhouse with them i.e everything tested to work, managed well, quality), and linux (love open source, fast patching, stable OS's, secure as hell, modular), windows just isn't innovating anymore.
