Anyway, here's the thing with bacon. These are my 2 rules:

1. Only buy bacon from the deli. The stuff that comes in a package is full of preservatives and just isn't nearly as good.
2. Bake it in the oven, don't fry it. It cooks a lot more evenly. 400 degrees, 20-22 minutes, do not preheat.
