cleaveland, well he has some of it right , this is going to happen in the fall see the weather patterns thats the energy up in the north pole its causing storms to circulate, there are aliens involved ,they have been here over 6 thousand years. What is going to happen we are going to learn about these mysteries. Christ is one of the great prophets there are others some of this will slowly be revealed. Many new things will be shown, this will be a very exciting time. soon we will learn all there is to know.

If you really read into the theories behind the end of the world and the mayan calendar, and Sumerian culture and all that. You will find the stories sound a lot like most religions. The characters just changed from Angels and Gods, to Aliens. Believe what you want. Calling other people lunatics for their beliefs is ignorant. The idea of god is no more ridiculous then aliens or flying spaghetti monsters. I personally think some of the stuff I've learned while looking into the topic is extremely interesting. Do I believe the world will end? Eh prob not. Do I want to be standing around holding a bag of shit when drastic climate shifts cause food shortages and starvation (in 2012 or whenever)? Not really.

Nothing wrong with having a plan. Global disasters (climate shifts, disease, etc) happen all the time. The human race is extremely overpopulated in current times and relies on technologies and infrastructure to be able to feed everyone. It's a very delicate balance if it were to all go to shit. You'll be wishing you had somewhere to go and some food to eat. Probably be giving your crazy friend a call?

Let the people who believe in it know that the Mayans had no leap year in their calendar and we have had over 400 leap years therefore in the Mayan calendar it is actually already 2013.
