An ad hominem ( for "to the man" or "to the person"), short for argumentum ad hominem, is an attempt to negate the truth of a claim by pointing out a negative characteristic or belief of the person supporting it.

Bettilimbroke started this thread to convey the annoucement that Stockton, CA is now the biggest city to file for bankruptcy. A few other cities in Northern California have also gone bankrupt. He believes that illegal immigrants from Mexico are mainly responsible for Stockton's bankruptcy.

Both republicans and democrats openly admit that illegal immigration is a huge problem that costs our country BILLIONS each year so Bettilimbroke's comments certainly have merit.

NOWHERE in Bettilimbroke's opening post did he ever mention the name King Mayan. There were several responses posted most of which were in agreement that illegal immigrants from Mexico were a big part of the reason for Stockton's bankruptcy filing. There was no personal criticism or personal attacks levied against anyone in the first 11 posts in this thread.

King Mayan chimes in (Post12) with his usual B.S. calling Bettilimbroke a racist along with his thinly veiled threats that he always makes.

Bettil, make sure you show up to the bash, I want to see how much of a racist you are in real life

Posts 13-16 consist of more responding to the thread with no direct mention of anyone and Mayan comes back in post 17
