usa would split into two separate countries, north and south
slavery probably would have ended anyway before the 20th century
maybe some minor wars over the next few decades between north and south fighting over western land
lack of american imperialist foreign policy allows european powers (britain, france, germany) to dominate south america and caribbean
no american superpower, but I think north and south would each be dominant powers (ie. top 5 most powerful countries) today
north would be more culturally advanced with less blacks and mexicans, but the north and south economies would still be similar size
