Visiting Costa Rica with a criminal record?

Will you be turned aware or are you good? From what I have found online most people can travel places that don't require visas with a record for up to 90 days but can't find a definitive answer. Some countries are definite no goes without an exception waiver such as canada, UK and Australia, and of course the US not that it matters to me as a citizen. Anyone have experience going to or getting turned away from CR with these circumstances? If so when did you travel there?

Topper, I doubt you will have a problem getting in to Costa Rica, they don't give a shit about your past.

Outside North America there aren't many (any?) countries that turn away tourists.

No. And they dont even ask. The only one I know of with a live USA criminal database is Canada.

Topper, it brings a smile to my face each time I see you post on SBR. There was a time where you were in Prison more than you were on the outside. Each time you would be arrested and sentenced you destroyed your family and your loving girlfriend. I know you don't think at times you are getting the respect you get on a day to day basis from people in your daily life but you have to realize, you were one of the shot callers for the young woods while you were doing your time. Two kinds of respect, and you surely earned the Prison one. You are a hero and prophet to most on SBR! Topper, please don't ever get locked up again!
