    Just ate 2-lbs of green
    Damn good...

    These were baby asparagus... about 1/2 the diameter of your pinky and 8" long

    chopped off the bottom 1" then chopped the remaining in half

    sauteed in unsalted butter until tender. about 3 mins

    lightly salted & peppered

    Next time try putting them in some foil with a little olive oil, crushed garlic, black pepper, and light salt. Then put them on the pit for 15 to 20 depending on the size of them. You will thank me.

          It always amazes me how quickly asparagus affects your urine. I mean, you can eat like 2 pieces of it....and your pee reeks 3 minutes later.

          Unreal.

          Anyone aware of why this happens?

            Yes. I think some people pass out the sulfur(?) in asparagus or something like that.
