I'm not a fan of "ministers" who pimp religion for profit, then use it to further their own popularity. But to say Jesse Jackson has served no purpose, or done little to help others would be pure ignorance. What has Al Shaprton ever done? I do not know, he is very annoying to me though.

Jessie Jacksons family has stolen millions from big businesses especially with coke pepsi and budweiser.Al has tried to be like Jesse but never had the clout. the Reverend has had alot of pop in the black community because he claimed to be with Rev. Martin Luther King on many marches and also said he held his body close to him when the reverend King was dying in his arms. Most of this was proven to be false ,but the black leaders included him with the black movement.
