Stereotyping...

I cannot stop laughing when someone tells me they don't stereotype.

Stereotyping is just using a type of reasoning. So many times people think stereotyping means something negative and that doesn't have to be the case...its just that most people only use the negative side of it.

Next time someone complains about you stereotyping, tell them this:

Lets go sit on a street corner. I'll stereotype the people that walk by, you randomly pick out of a hat.

So for example,

If I see a white guy with a cowboy hat and boots on, blue jeans and a john deere shirt, I will guess he likes country music.
The other person can have a list of country, rap, rock,blues, opera, etc etc in a hat and will pick 1 answer out.

Winner receives cash each time from the other person.

That will get them to stfu and realize stereotyping, while isn't perfect, is a better way then randomly guessing...and if they don't, atleast you will have taken their money.

Your brain is hardwired to "stereotype", you couldn't avoid it even if you wanted to.

The Social worker types who tell you that you shouldn't judge by appearances etc. have to perform all sort of mental gymnastics to believe that they don't do it themselves.

The conservatively dressed chick with glasses and little makeup on could be a beast in bed but our stereotyped mind says nope.
