We went to a Vietnamese Pho restaurant tonight.... It was good for a change

The Viet girl waitress was top class so we left a decent tip.

I asked her 'do you do well here' -- she said 'most customers were Vietnamese and they never tip, white people are the best'

I work on tips too and not to sound racist or anything but Asians and Blacks are the worse. Mexican's would be up there too but none of them have money to gamble so they don't get many chances to tip. White people are by far the best tippers in general.

Yes, We are poor tippers.(depends) Because, Over here in Cali, Only to pho shops because the owners keep the tips. My mom Viet but she a great tipper, she gives 15 percent always white restraunts, pizza or not. My pops okay tipper 5-10percent max. Me, Im a college student, so it depends on my budget, But at the casino, If i win a $50 dollar poker pot I tip like $2-3 iunno if that good or not.

Man... since when is tipping 5% to 10% ok. That is considered sending a message for bad service. The minimum is 15% for just service, 20% or more is for good service. If you are pissed and want to send a message by leaving no tip the only message received is that you are cheap and or ignorant. So, always leave something, that indicates your level of satisfaction. Also, it is not always about percentages, if you hit the bar for a quick 1 or 2 beers you leave a dollar per drink at least. I was also a waiter in college at a nice restaurant and had a 3 top of ladies who stayed almost 3 hours, during a Thursday night rush. Best time for turnover and highest priced menu items... their bill was well over $100 and they were nice enough to leave $3 and change and half a pack of Cools (cigarettes) you tell me what race they were... HINT Cools, and yes the service at this place was excellent.

Long story short, We had connection with white people in Cali, So when My gramps came over, We had gold looted into the US, So they were able to buy a small house.


My mom side is from Alabama, Both Parents are Viet.
