2011. Bad Year for Movies?

The Descendants (2011)
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close (2011)
The Help (2011)
Hugo (2011)
Midnight in Paris (2011)
Moneyball (2011)
The Tree of Life (2011)
War Horse (2011)

I'm not saying they suck, but . There are 5 of those that I have no interest in watching them, not even for free.

Any movie with gorge clown in it. I have no interest in watching. Guy makes the most boring movies. Fell asleep 5 times trying to watch men who stares at goats

I only rated one movie a 9 (out of 10)(50\50) and only one 8 (Flowers of War)

Not saying I liked any of the movies nominated, but the Oscars have never been about the most entertaining, and recently they have become a forum for awarding somebody who carries a liberal message. Kind of like Hollywood itself.
