UPS Dropbox? How does it work?

I only ask because I went to one about 2 weeks ago, and I had to return my college books. I placed them safely in the drop box and they had the prepaid shipping labels on them.

Its 2 weeks later now, and the books were never delivered. I put my tracking number/ name into the UPS website, and the package isnt even found. No trace at all.

WTF do I do now. Do you have to fill out a form or something before you put it in the dropbox? I thought that because I had prepaid labels it would be suffice.

I called up UPS, and they have no answers, and say they arent liable.

Anyone every use a UPS Dropbox?

used many times with 0 problems.

next time drop it off at staples. it's free and they hand you a receipt.

You just put your boxes w/ the prepaid shipping labels in the dropbox right?

I mean it seems simple. Did I miss something? Because I felt 100% comfortable when I did it. But now I think my packages are lost.

Did I miss filling out some form or something?

Basically UPS has certain times and routes to pick this up .You would have been better off going to a World Center because it sounds like you put it in a drop box they no longer service.
