I bumped an old thread about the blue badge of courage that JJ just awarded yesterday. and I bumped some threads of JJ playing HS football because Dad asked about JJ's HS football days.
why is it disruptive to bump old threads that pertain to current topics, or any threads period. Its part of SBR's history and legacy.Comment -

OK, they are reset to to normal.
Bumping of old threads once in a while is fine. But if in the mods opinion it is simply to be disruptive then they are tasked with changing users status to post review. As you can see its a lot busier around here than in the old days. The mods are trying to keep it that way.Comment -
apparently it doesn't take much to be disruptive around here. Seems the new mods are a little overzealous IMO. If people like eggnog, Swinger and others who are far more annoying are allowed to live, so should they.Comment -

Its possible. I noticed beantown just received a 10 day ban for his very predictable MLK post. Could of looked the other way even though many posters reported the thread.
One thing I noticed about the NFL playoffs is the refs ignored a lot of the late hits and holding, ect. They let them play.
Its a fine line between letting them play and good moderating. I think they to do a great job here and give their best and hopefully constantly improve.Comment -

An intermingler of colored people? The administration at SBR has a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Bread and Rogue Juror and you curse the new SBR. Bumping old threads can be embarrassing to some more than merely disruptive. Like if say someone were to call Haitians vile smelling creatures or something that could make the poster that posted something like look bad.
