Yes, the pain reaches all the way down to my ass. My doctor prescribed a divorce.

Only success i've found is pain management. Seriously, lower back pain is very difficult. Treatment does vary depending on what exactly the cause is. My advice is to try all avenues before starting a pain management regimen.

              oxys until the pain subsides.

If it's from physical labour maybe you had poor form. Use the legs. I saw a garbage man the other day bending his waist almost 90 degrees forward to scoop up the containers. That dude will have no back in a couple years

No, but I have chronic pelvic pain syndrome. I have damage with my pudendal nerve and it's the most miserable pain I have ever experienced. I hope you get some relief. It took me 7 months and 6 different Dr's to figure out the problem.

I injured my back doing squats in college and my lower leg was numb for a month. Had dropfoot and stuff. Not as bad now, but chronic discomfort. The only thing Ive found that makes it manageable is strengthen the lower back muscles. Back extensions and correct form with medium to light weight deadlifts stregthens the muscles surrounding the nerves and vertebrae adding support. When your back is hurting you, try doing a set of 20-30 back extensions. It's where you are horizontal to the floor with your pelvis on a pad and your heels are under some rollers. You bend towards the floor and then straighten back to horizontal or slightly more. Loosens up the soft tissue and gets the blood flowing.

Chiropractors are a scam and who wants to be a zombie on pain pills all the time.

Google "McKenzie exercises" and go buy a book on the subject.

Do them religiously for a few months and you will never have LBP again.

Having a bad time now with it , have not been able to sleep in weeks from the discomfort.

My girlfriend had some back problems and the chiropractor messed her up pretty bad.

In the meantime buy a TENS unit on Amazon for $60-80. It provides electrical stimulation that will give immediate pain relief. They work very well.

Odd. I started having lower back pain about a week or two ago. It's like were all starting our periods at the same time.

Over the counter back brace or you could get a custom one made if you have insurance or money to spare.

A TENS Unit isn't a bad idea either, a lot of people get relief from them. Also covered by insurance.

Are you having issues with your knees or feet? Could be related.

                                  God bless.

Back issues suck. ALready been through one operation and see a chiro for their 'dynamic' treatment which is just popping the damn thing and little massage machine after...tolerable but wont ever go away once you've hurt it.

The chiro treatment will feel great for a day or so but if you've got spine/muscle issues then they will just twist it all right back into the hurting again. Honestly the best cure for me has been my workouts. Crossfit is great for functional movement and has actually done more for me than any Dr.

What kind of work do you do that led to it?

All these suggestions without knowing specifically what Kav's problem is.

A bulging disc can be brutal, enough pain to prevent walking, even moving. I feel for ya if that's the problem, Kav. Had it myself several years ago. Two bouts of it over a three year period. Sitting with my feet up on a desk for extended periods of time. That's how it happened to me.

My lower back goes out about twice a year to the point that I can't walk. Ice pack really is only thing that helps. Heating pad makes it worse.

I fractured some vertebrae twice in my teens. Had severe discs problems. Ended up getting some bone spurs, which led to a pinched nerve, which led to a dropped hand, which led to a discetomy surgery replacement of my c5,c6 c7 about 18 months ago. Shit ain't nothing nice.

Learn how to stretch out the muscles that are tense. Stretching has helped my back more than anything else Ive tried.

yes, but mine is not normal typical as yours. mine is due to my multiple surgeries which has left me with more metal then bone in my lower back, and because my i have no sacrum due to cancer.
