Random thought...When a witness comes in to talk to the cops, all they do is blur the face and sometimes alter the voice. Sometimes they don't even do that. If you knew the snitch, you'd recognize the person no problem.

I wonder if any of these people have ever been murdered after the episode airs?

I watch that show and thought that before aswell. I think some of them got to get recognized like you said if you knew the person I think you would probably recognize them even with a blurred face.
