Do you people believe in gambling jinxes?
Do you all believe that there's someone whoose luck is so bad that loses all the time and he can pratically change the course of a sports game due to his bets?

I feel that i have such powers. Although i'm not such a big jinx since i won on rubin -0.5 vs tottenham i have not been so lucky.

Take the ongoing match on atheletic madrid vs udinese.

Firstly madrid is a middle ranked team in the spanish league. It drew with bottom ranking teams like osasuna, granada and sevilla. It lost by 5 goals to barcelona. On top of that on madrid's last match with udinese it lost by 2 goals. In the europa league it's ranked 2nd behind udinese in their group. Udinese is ranked 2nd in the italian league only behind juventus.

I refused to listen to the odds too. Odds for madrid to win were super low so the bookmakers were betting on madrid to really win. I thus bet on udinese for a +1 handicap.

What happened next is that by halftime madrid leads udinese by 3-0.

I'm not someone that just randomly places bets i do study the teams and all that yet this is one of the worst defeats in any europa match today and possibly for the entire league. Conceding 3 goals before HT.

It might sound silly but i somehow felt that i have jinxed udinese to a 3 goal deficit cos of my bets.

Do any of you believe in this?

I'm actually hoping to start collecting 4 leave clovers or horseshoes or some shyt like that to increase my luck try as i think how silly this sounds but there's no other explaination.

I guess I'm and idiot then. If I'm watching as game that I bet on, and my team is starting to lose, I turn it off. If I check the score on an ESPN sight, and see they are coming back, I won't turn the game back on, in fear of they might start losing again.

I won't play blackjack with an Asian female dealer. They are murderers. Sometimes I tell my girl she is a jinx so I can watch a game in peace.

There are days when I can't get one fukkin pick right.

Then I'll be reading this other guy's thread and say to myself, "that's the dumbest pick ever." and that person will win.

I shit you not. The trick is to know when those days are.

Do you really think your $50 bet alters the outcome of the game (when there guys in Vegas and online that have 5-10 K on the same game)? Really???

The short answer is there are no jinxes...but there are a LOT of superstitious gamblers.

There are days when gamblers are surround by a dark cloud and won't win no matter what. I have those days and I've seen it in others

Let's say that jinxes do exist. What happens when gamblers are on opposing sides of the same match, and both of them are in the same situation?

You know as much as i'm not a superstitious person i do have days when i'm not winning and the opposite. That shouldn't make any sense as i'm not reckless when it comes to betting. Sometimes i'm unable to make up my mind about choosing a bet so i follow the majority from a forum or follow the picks of some punters that have a high winning streak and even then they lose.

It is what it is. Your bet has no way of changing the outcome of a game. It is just the way it is. I was on Penn St +7 last year they were down by 3 driving on 15 and throw a pic six, same thing happened in miami maryland game. Shit just happens its called gambling.
