Poll: Best LCD HD TV Brand?

Looking for a LCD HD TV to buy by November. But not sure what brand to get that is probably set for long life.
I put a poll up so that some of you may have fun with it.
Your stories can come in handy.
I'm also curious since most are coming out with a USB hub on them, can you do anything with a laptop or a thumbdrive?
Right now I have a cheap regular LCD tv made by Sanyo. Walmart is high on them. But it has lasted me for over 4 years now and haven't had a single dead pixel yet.

My friend works for a major appliance store and he swears by Sharp. I just bought a 42 inch with Computer hookups for $400. It's a great TV.

I use to be a manager at circuit city & best buy. Sony xbr series is the way to go! A little pricey but well worth every penny.

I bought a big ass Samsung plasma not too long ago. I like it, I like it a lot.

Samsung wins hands down, although others run close seconds.

Honestly bro, most good brands(sony/samsung/lg) have similiar panels and offer comparable quality. just get the one you get the best deal on. I know cause many of my friends sell these everyday and get asked the same questions at Bestbuy/brandsmart etc.

i know that sony buys some of their panels from samsung and sharp.

like sneakerhead said, just get what you can get the best deal on.
