I think NBA blacks are dumber, in the sense that they are more urbanized. They are more thuggish to appeal to their inner city fans. NFL blacks, as football is more popular in America, appeal to everyone. You find a lot of middle america and southern black players who are wholesome, pray nightly, more religious in general.

The difference is basically that of a black big booty NYC ho with two kids at 18 and living on welfare (NBA), compared to the Southern, gospel singing, joyous, black granny in Alabama (NFL).

Anecdotal evidence would say NFL. Reason = so many stories of NBA players going broke. Antoine Walker = case in point.

Maybe IQ isn't the right stat, tho. Common sense is better. Walker was supporting 70 people, the hangers-on had no problem taking. Where were they when the poor guy needed $$? How bout talking up a collection for him?

NBA players literally flush $$ away.

Hopefully, this was your topic proposal and not your actual research proposal. I am also assuming that you are a lower-level student, and it's shame that you believe that intelligence can be affected so greatly, as the sport that one plays. You should change your research topic and instead analyze the different types of intelligence, how are they assessed, and whether academic "intelligence," or performance, equates to true intelligence.

I never get involved in these dumb threads, but this just stood out to me.. That statement means next to nothing.. With approx 39 million African-Americans in the US, that would put him in the the 99.7 percentile.. I'm sure there are MILLIONS (easily) with a higher IQ than him..
