I smoke cigars on occasion and over in Hong Kong the wealthy have Cuban collections that take up an entire room. A big player had us over for dinner and took me through his collection. Jaw dropping. Full boxes of everything and tons of vintage stuff like the Cuban Davis and Dunhills. We had a few cigars and the Dunhill Cabinetta was beyond amazing. Cigar was older than me and the strength and body was almost too much for me to handle.

How? California and France do not have a cigar industry. If Castro dies and the government of Cuba opens up, the cigar makers that left Cuba would come back. It's a wrap at that point.
Right now though, I have to say Nicaragua is producing some astounding cigars. Padron, Joya De Nicaragua, Murcielago, and a few others have been producing outstanding smokes.
Other countries like Honduras are producing the Rocky Patel line.
Very hard for me to see California and France compete with those guys.

My favorite drink:
Just on ice with a lime slice.
For a scotch I usually go with:
Best taste/price ratio imo.
For a cigar I go with:
These were previously called Kahlua Cigars; I guess they got in trouble with the Kahlua liquer people over the name or something. Anyway, they have a sweet wrapper, nice and mild, still have the coffee flavor.... Just a great taste. Little pricey though, but worth it.
Like the Romeo y Julieta too.

A great new cigar just hitting the market. They sell out quickly here so I grab them whenever I see them.
Espinosa cigars
Amaro Averna. Good stuff.

Got this whiskey made down here in Ft. Worth (just west of Dallas for those not familiar with the area), great whiskey. One of my favorites. Very smooth but still has a small bite to remind you that you're a man.

Thats how its done, Sacrelicious style.
I smoke a pack of accord reds every day.
I also drink a fifth of that vodka daily. The vodka is the second cheapest, or if you are at a sketchy liquor store in a bad neighborhood, the third or fourth cheapest. I drink it mixed with water.

Boys, if we're talking about great local products, let me introduce you to some Pennsylvania pride.
Look at here, bet you didn't know we got our own whiskey here in Pa.
Dad's Hat Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey 90 proof and 100 proof White Rye whiskey.
The real deal, boys.

This stuff is also a real winner:
You can get a fifth of it for about 18 bucks, by comparison, in Canada a fifth of Polar Ice or Smirnoff usually runs you at least 25, often times more.
Tastes somewhat drinkable if you like cheap low quality voka, and as with the Russian Prince, I also drink it mixed with water.

You don't need a $10 cigar, especially if you're just starting out. ACID cigars are a good inexpensive option; they also come in many different sizes. Helix is another solid option. I got a 3-pack for about $12 last time I bought them.
Edit: Corona size for the Helix

Imma bump this thread b/c I smoked a Tabak Especial and have been drinking Bell's Porter while snowed in. An excellent combo.
