from the document his age at the time of that document was made he would have been 49 years old. the article came out when he was 53.

Are you kidding me? Magic Johnson looks like he's going to live to 90 with HIV b/c of how much money he has, and Steve Jobs is twice as wealthy as him. If Jobs had gotten HIV, he would have lived to be at least 100.
