i stayed at the MGM grand a month ago, it was my first time as well... theres the marquee which is supposed to be the best club in vegas... theres also a sweeeeet club crawl happening every saturday night, theres this guy named Ricki and he posts up every saturday upstairs at the food court and he sells tickets. the food court is on vegas boul. its like a 15 minute walk from the MGM grand.. OOOOH AND YOU MUST GO TO WET REPUBLIC!!!! best pool party everrrrrrrrrr! its got a cover charge but it happens every saturday at the MGM hotels... have fun bro! i know i had a fkn blast!!!!!!

Not sure if they are still going, but I did see 2 very different shows when I was there a couple years ago.

"Love" @ the Mirage is all about the Beatles and was very entertaining, funny and had great music (if you are afan of the Beatles of course!)

"La Reve" @ Wynn was spectaular and well worth a watch as well.

Personally I prefered Love as it was more fun in general - whereas La Reve is a lot more just staring in awe at whats going on !

If your there 5 day, budget your "gambling" money so you don't shoot your load on day 2 and have to sit in the room for 3 days.

Take a few deep breaths and determine ahead of time you will not try to do it all and see it all. Plan on coming back before you go. Will make this trip much more enjoyable.
