Of all days Obama has to pick to come into town and he picks the day of the Phillies/Cardinals.

Obama visit, Cards game likely to snarl traffic
ST. LOUIS • The Philadelphia Phillies won't be the only out-of-towners causing traffic backups downtown today.
President Barack Obama will be in town for a pair of fundraisers, including a reception at the Renaissance Grand Hotel that begins an hour after the first pitch of Tuesday's game.
After his downtown reception, Obama will head to a $25,000-a-person dinner at the Lindell Boulevard home of Tom Carnahan, son of the late governor.
The president's departure from downtown figures to coincide with the late innings of the Cardinals game, the third in their playoff series against Philadelphia. That game begins at 4:07 p.m. at Busch Stadium.
Delays are expected in the late afternoon and early evening on Lindell Boulevard and downtown. Parking also will be restricted.
Obama's exact route to and from downtown has not been released and, interstate travelers might want to take note, neither has what roads will be involved in his arrival to and departure from Lambert St. Louis-International Airport.
