This scenario actually happend (11 years ago but really happened).
Reno trip with three buddies. About 11:15 pm on a Sat night a few weekends after school started, $5 crap table an the El Dorado, kind of slow only; about 5 people at the table (including me and one of my buddies, a classic manwhore dirtbag type). I started with $100 and my stack was dwindling. Then this big black dude (big as in like buff as fuk, had to be 6'4" and 280) comes up dressed to the nines; custom tailored suit, leather shoes, gold sunglass rims with two fine looking slammin babes. Dude goes on a very nice run. I had like $20 left and by the time he was done I was sitting on a little over $6,500; my buddy, being more conservative was up to about $4,200. The brother made a killing as when he started he was betting nickels. I have no idea who the guy was, neither did anyone at the table.
Anyways, after about an hour and half to two hours. He threw the dealers a few $500 chips, thanked everyone, lifted his hat to the applause we all gave him and walked away. I took that as my cue to quit as well. As we were walking away my buddy wanted to go blow it on the tables and hookers.
Whereas I, I saw a very nice trip to Europe sitting in my hands.
So the question is: Do you go blow it on the tables and hookers or take an 8 week trip around Europe?
