Ok here's the backstory. I bought wooden crates which were eastern white pine. They smelled like wood. I was told the smell would diminish with polyurethane. So I went ahead and used the poly. Well it's been 2 weeks and the crates still smell from the polyurethane. Any remedies to reduce the smell

#4Which smell don't you like the wood, the poly, or both now?
Polyurethane shouldn't smell at all once dry..Comment -

#6Have you coated all of the woods surface? If the poly hasn't sealed it all over I'd guess it's just that..Comment -
