Is this a good deal? Ends First week of September. Get a new laptop (at least 700$) and get a free xbox 360. Thinking about it.

The Xbox 360 4GB base model usually sells for around $100-130 range during holiday sales. There are rumors out there saying the next generation of consoles is coming within 2 years so that will depress prices even more.
You should compare the qualified Xbox 360 laptops -$115 to what is available outside this promotion. If these laptops still have value at this price it's probably worth a buy. Offhand the sales I've seen have not impressed me. It just seems like another sales gimmick to me.Comment -

Sucks cuz my 2003 laptop just broke (back light) and its $60 to fix, would be stupid to put that money towards an old laptop when it could cover a decent portion of a new laptop, and give me a backup xbox.

It's been out for a few months.
The lowest laptop deal w/ Xbox you can get is 600 bucks I believe. You can find a laptop with those same specs for around 400, then buy the xbox for 150.
I looked into it when it first came out, thinking I could pick up a new laptop and ditch the xbox and get a good deal on the laptop then. No go, as you can't resell the laptop for more than 150 back then. Now the xbox can be found for 150 or less from stores.Comment -
