Not sure about the other two but the truly insane one/leader of the group was Damien (he was born Michael but changed it to Damien after watching the "Omen") Echols. Echols barely qualifies as human and should have been in a mental institution anyway (hed grown up in mental institutions but apparently at 18 they had to let him out). He was an 18 year old devil worshipper at the time of his arrest for triple murder living in a trailer with his pregnant gf off his mental disability check and was planning to sacrifice their infant to the devil after she gave birth. Damien is a very well spoken psychopath, without the long hair and not showing the pentagrams he has tattoed on his chest and shoulder he looks like a nice normal guy, that kid of his is lucky as **** that his dad was sent to prison for 18 years or in all likelihood he would've been Damien's first victim. Trust me you dont randomly become suspect #1 in a triple murder within hours of discovering the bodies without being a special kind of individual, the other two actually fuckin confessed to the murders
(tip to future innocent ppl: Its a very very bad idea to makeup a confession when you're being interrogated for triple murder and youre friend is a devil worshipping lunatic that is the prime suspect)
Anyway, now Damien is free and can meet his 18 year old son he was going to sacrifice to the devil and will hopefully stay on his meds. Part of the reason he was batshit crazy back then was he was flat broke and living off disability in a trailer park, perhaps now hell make enough off interviews that hell act half human, of course if he violates probation he goes back to prison for 21 years so that's always an incentive to act right as well.Comment -

) was a full on lunatic at the time of his arrest, frequently police were called bc on many different occasions he threatened to kill himself, his parents, his pregnant gf (not the good looking groupie in the video he married while in prison but some crazy trailer trash he'd knocked up), ppl at his high school, his unborn child, Obama (okay so hes not all bad 
), just in general an all around unpleasant individual. Memphis is the 13th biggest city in the country and one of the top 5 highest crime rate cities in the country, calling this a small town witch hunt is a little ridiculous. He probably was innocent of this crime however his friends kept making up detailed confessions which is always a bad idea when your friends with the prime suspect in a triple homicide.

West Memphis is just across the Mississippi River, 5 miles from downtown Memphis, TN. These guys lived in a trashy trailer park which probably has half the meth labs in Eastern Arkansas.
As I said, who knows about this crime, there are certainly some indicators that they didn't, but the cops knew this Echols guy, they had zero friends, and basically were a statistic waiting to happen. Now they walk the streets and have celebrity status after pleading guilty to first degree murder of 3 kids.Comment -
Okay throw a West in front of Memphis and call it a small town if you want, anyone who lives around there just considers it part of the Memphis area. The truth of the matter is Echols was destined for jail (probably for killing someone) or the grave, as it turned out he ended up in jail, no surprise. Misskelly is a retarded skinhead (you can see how nuts he is as he tatooed his fuckin baldhead) and was an idiot that made false confessions which got them all thrown in the can. I have no clue about Jason Baldwin, he seems like a normal guy that got railroaded by false confessions from skinhead retard and being friends with Echols.

Damien is probably ******, the plea they gave sorta ****** him hard. He cant sue the state and get rich that way (maybe he can get rich off interviews/TV deals), hes apparently been put on probation and if violates will have to serve 21 years or something ridiculous like that, hes got a crazy wife that fell in love with him so she could be in the spotlight that hes never actually spent a day with (married in prison 11 years ago).
In the next year Damien will get off his meds and threaten to kill his new wife and she will call the cops and theyll throw him back in the can, the whole reason Damien was prime suspect #1 was the fact the cops had been called around 1000 times on Damien before this crime for threatening to kill himself and everyone around him at knifepoint everyday.Comment -
