Go to a Bank, and ask for a CC. If they refuse "KILL THE MANAGER"

    And ask again.

Just dont get stuck with an Annual Fee, that sucks. I used to work for a CC company and they gave a shitty card with a 300 Limit and a 150 Annual fee that was charged to the card as soon as you get it, so you only had 150 to use.

IMO, best way to get started is to get a 2nd card on someone else's acct. They key is that you make the payments from your own checking acct. Soon after you should see progress, especially if you/master card holder keeps the balance down.

Surprised if you are making payments on a car that someone hasn't offered you a CC. You should first try your bank since you have history with them.

Is the car under your name or you have a co-signer?
