Wow I thought it looked older than that I used to own 2 and 3 on super nintendo. I think it was one and 2 although I can't really remember but one of them you could ride around on a bird to get from one place to another.

Actually Stocks you are Correct.

For USA this game was Final Fantasy 2, but not for the series.

What happened is that Final Fantasy 2 and 3 were never relesed on America, and the company in charge of releasing final fantasy 4 didnt wanted to confuse Americans so he just re-named it Final Fantasy 2.

Because the previous two installments of the Final Fantasy were never released on America Final Fantasy IV was distributed as Final Fantasy II to maintain naming continuity. Later remakes of the game have been released in North America under the original title"
