I finally broke down and bought a xbox 360
I got it for $60 tax and shipping from gamestop
It was $99 for 20 gb microsoft refurbished
with wireless controller and headset.
Found a old $50 gamestop gift card that the kids never used
so it would of been $110 but thats like found money.

Anyway I was looking for suggestions on a few game to buy.
I was going to get tigerwoods golf, madden, and major league baseball
any other suggestions.

dont buy madden yet as it comes out later in the month.....i would recommend waiting a little bit because all of the new sports games will be coming out soon...for now grab the masters game and maybe something like mortal combat.

not a fan of the 2k baseball games...i like the show on ps3

If you're looking for sports games, I can't help you. But here are my suggestions. Two of the best games to grace the XBox 360:

Deadspace - Scariest fuking game I think I have ever played. Don't believe me, watch this review. Make sure you watch pass the 10 sec mark, or you'll be missing out.

Half-Life 2 - Fuking Classic!!.. This game influenced a shit load of games. It started the rag doll effect and much more. I'm still surprised they haven't made it into a major production movie, yet. But make sure you buy the "Orange Box" Half Life 2. There's 4 games for the price of 1. Additionally, there's 2 more parts/games to Half Life 2 and those are included in the Orange Box.

I put my xbox controller down...And pick it up in November when Call of Duty comes out. Play that for the harsh winters in Chicago, then set the controller back down until the next year comes out.


Call of Duty is the best game to play online, get some pals together, I'm sure a bunch of turds on here will be playing it, just bullshit and play the game...never gets old.

Other than that I used to play college football. but haven't in a couple years.

I like better PS3, but for xbox the good games are pretty much the same, with exceptions like uncharted and God of war.
It also depends on what kind of games do you like? Sports, shotter , adventure in 3rd person?
Try gears of war 1 and 2 (3 coming out soon) tom clancy's splinter cell, Assassins Creed 1 , 2 and the 3rd wich is called brotherhood, call of duty balck ops and modern warfare which comes out in november, i could go on and on but those are my two cents
