    Playstation 3 - Help
I assume lots of you have PS3's out there.

I think I am going to get one for my 2nd lounge room - primarily to use as a media centre, then for games second.

What I want to know is how sites like firstrowsports and mlb.tv run on it. That would be a deal breaker.

Also, there are so many PS3's out there. Which one do I want? Is there any real difference between the 10 or so that I see? I don't need a huge hard drive, as I'll be streaming my videos from from my PC too. I don't think I'll get it second hand, as I've heard too many stories about them breaking down and will want a warranty.

mlb.tv works pretty good, though others haven't had the same luck that I have. As far as firstrow and the other streaming sites, most of them will not work on the ps3.

have you tried FR sports etc with the new firmware upgrades?

stacocakes gave it a go and reported back to me chat and said it worked, but was a bit jumpy, but that could be to do with the wifi vs hardline. FR sports can be a bit jumpy on my laptop too...

damn, that is a deal breaker :/

MLB works great, they have their own app.

Hi Everyone - I’m excited to show everyone the new MLB.TV application for the PS3 that will be available from PlayStation Network, in both U.S. and Canada, later today. This app allows MLB.TV subscribers to watch every regular season game live in HD (local blackout restrictions do apply), with tons of new interactive features designed [...]
