    I Like Sports On Radio
My MLB League Pass was out tonight, so I listened to my Astros on the radio feed. I forgot how much I enjoyed listening to the ballgames. The announcers are much more in detail about what is going on, and seem to give more insight to the sponsored team. The nostalgia doesn't hurt either. I remember as a kid putting the headphones on my old Snoopy Doghouse radio, and listening to the Astros broadcasts under the covers past my bedtime on a school night. Good times.

Agree. Usually have sports radio on instead of the garbage music these days while driving

Yeah do the same thing. Radio music sucks, I listen to a whole range of podcasts on my to work each day.

There is something nostalgic about sports on the radio...especially baseball. Often times the play by play and commentators are better too.

Yea I really like listening to my favorite teams on the radio too! Funny thing though, the exact same broadcast over the internet is somehow not as fun -- I like it when I can catch it on my battery powered grundig so I can walk around the house with it.

Grew up with sports on the radio and can be just as exciting as tv.

I agree with the above post. The sound of the game is more exciting.

Back in college when we watched baseball or basketball on TV we'd turn the TV volume down and turn on the radio play by play up.
