Dwight's MINI VACATION pics

Recently came back from Osa peninsula in the south western part of Costa Rica. You can only get there by boat. Stayed less that 200 feet from the ocean. Snorkeled, swam, hiked and relaxed for a week. The dolphins almost jumped into the boat. It was amazing.

Thanks guys. It was about a hour boat-ride through the mangroves until we hit the pacific and then another 20 min to the secluded resort. Took a tour to Cano Island which is 1 hour boat ride out to the pacific. The dolphins almost jumped into the boat. It was amazing. The diving was unreal with hundreds of tropical fish and manta rays. Took a guided cano tour up the rio claro but because the water lever was low, we just simple swam up stream. It was so quiet and kinda freaky only because the guide said to watch out for small alligators and snakes. Didn't see any that day but tons of exotic birds including toucans. definitely recommend the place if you ever visit Costa Rica.

this one dog followed my on a long hike and we came upon several monkeys. One was carrying a her baby and when the dog came too close and started barking, I swear at least a dozen monkeys came down to attack the dog. It was fukking funny as hell. They were screaming like ..... well .... like monkies LOL. Aggressive as hell and sharp teeth. I wouldn't want to screw with them.

man, I tell ya. While swimming in the warm clear ocean and then chopping down and coconut while resting underneath the palm tree, I did think about the movie Castaway. All the stress in the world just vanishes and you are at peace with the world and yourself.

Corcovado is indeed a simply breathtaking place. Absolutely gorgeous. I hope that it never becomes spoiled and commercialized, like Puerto Viejo is slowing becoming.

I did see a few in the wild but that particular snake was just outside the restaurant. It's a non poisonous snake
